Weekend away at the Jockey Club 2022
A fabulous weekend was organised for us by Gaynor Foulkes-Taylor. It commenced with a great reception and dinner in The Tack Room a very lovey venue. We were able to meet and stroke a horse worth 1.7million pounds.
We stayed at the prestigious Jockey Club overnight and the next morning had a personal tour of the Newmarket racecourse. This included sitting in the royal box. After this we mostly tried our hands at picking winners on the races, but I think all were unsuccessful.
In the evening we were treated to an elegant black tie dinner and able to relax after with drink.
The Sunday morning we were treated by private tour of the National Stud where Gaynor our incredibly knowledgeable guide answered all our questions.
A few then left for the additional tour of the gardens with dramatic displays. A wonderful weekend.
