Spitalfields is a dynamic part of London’s old East End. Our blue badge guide John Steel took us on a virtual walk in chronological time, as we observed the changing face of Spitalfields; from medieval church remains, to Georgian terraces, churches, famous Victorian housing and market to the vibrant art scene of today.
With a history of changing immigration bringing new cultures and religious beliefs, Spitalfields is truly unique and John was a great host.
